Berlin Prints

Berlin Fashion week continued, with C. Neeon showing off the geometric print.

I think its a cool trend, following the whole 80's route. But I am wary of the extremes, which is where all trends go before they die. In truth the geo print is groovy, but I prefer it to be paired down a bit; partly because they tend to make me zone out.

I've always been an admirer of Menswear, with the impeccable tailoring and the structured lines that are a part of it. Seeing menswear paired with lady in a great dress just seals the deal, i.e. fashion partner in crime as SusieBubble would say.
I've always thought it was interesting how menswear and womenswear borrow from each other (think Hedi Slimane). Plus, seeing the "adventurous" together with the classic, coming together in one seamless duo, always gives me a sigh of deep satisfaction.

Er but sometimes it can get a bit much, lol.

Starry Surprise

I was so surprised to find an adult onsesie, complete with snaps at the crotch. Though I imagine that would get uncomfortable... But it such a cute design with the nice yellow against black contrast, (besides the snaps) whats not to love.

So I began exploring the http://store.starsandinfinitedarkness.com/index.html website, and i also found this adorable piece. This Lochness looks just like the real deal, look its got its great big teeth too :D


Labeled as a place for indie designers/ "emerging artists," the site offers men's, children's, as well as women's wear and its etc. section stocks some adorable things. But in truth, the clothes are pretty standard, I had looking forward to some concept pieces.

GZ is fishy

But in a good way. I love seeing unexpected things on shoes. The fish skeleton gives a severe look to the this Giuseppe Zanotti shoe, giving it a cool juxtaposition against the bling.



And lately, I've been having an interest in all things fish and nautical. Maybe its because I've been swimming everyday or maybe its because fish are underrepresented in fashion.
Someday they'll get their time in the sun! But hopefully for not too long...
